UIndyTV Experience
I have always been creating media content for social media, but to challenge myself and learn more about the world of television, I joined UIndyTV. Working at the station has been a great learning experience for me, and I have gained a lot of knowledge and skills in the field. Currently, I serve as the editor and social media manager for The Grand Slamp Sports Show, a weekly sports prediction program. Additionally, I am the editor for UIndyTV's local business spotlight show and write news stories for UIndyTV news on a weekly basis. I am proficient in editing, creating rundowns, operating cameras, and managing production. I excel in a fast-paced environment, and I am always involved in some aspect of TV production. I find it very engaging and fulfilling.
First TV Package
Grand Slam Sports Show
Initially, I had never thought of getting involved in sports as I am not much of a sportsperson. However, I love social media and video editing. One day, my good friend Charles Foster introduced me to his sports show called Grand Slam and I was immediately fascinated and wanted to lend my help. At that time, the show was just an idea and had not yet uploaded its first episode. I was sent the footage for the first episode, edited it, and created a thumbnail along with a description for social media. Our first episode was a huge success and since then, Grand Slam has been on the rise. I take pride in the direction the show is taking.
My responsibilities include editing all episodes, directing, and managing all our social media accounts. I am also involved in making crucial decisions about the direction of the show, deciphering what works and what doesn't. I continuously keep an eye on analytics and watch time, ensuring that our show is the best it can be.
