Global Greyhounds unites students and creates a community centered around passion for study abroad. This RSO is a place for any student to hang out, learn from other students' experiences, and helps embrace intercultural experiences and international travel throughout our campus community.

Globe Community
During my second semester as a Freshman at UIndy, a good friend of mine, Mallory Tompson, shared with me her idea of starting a new RSO club called Global Greyhounds. The club was meant for people with a common interest in studying abroad. I expressed my desire to join and contribute as much as possible. I was appointed the social media manager, given my experience in public relations and electronic media. Mallory had just created the RSO, so we had a huge task of turning this idea into a reality.
Making Things Happen
Our new team immediately came together to organize events and establish a presence on campus. We hosted a call-out meeting event, a study abroad panel, and attended various fairs on campus. Our club has become a hub for students who are unsure about studying abroad, as it provides them a platform to learn and become more informed. Additionally, we offer a space for students who have already studied abroad or are currently doing so to gather and share their experiences.

Giving Back
Our main goal is to be a reliable resource for students to stay informed. As students tend to learn better from their peers, we aim to organize events where they can hang out, play games, enjoy some free food, and learn about different cultures and study abroad programs.
